I didn’t come to copywriting conventionally. I didn’t go to ad school. My resume isn’t replete with agency acronyms. But one thing I’ve always had in common with the copywriters of the world is the love of a good story.
As a kid that meant making goofy videos with friends after school. When I got into the working world it meant long hours on film & tv sets. Later it meant moving to Los Angeles to work in scripted development with some of the best writer / producers in Hollywood. Most recently it’s led me back home to NYC and my current role as a commercial studio producer at one of the world’s most awarded creative agencies.
Outside of work I’m a musician, an over-consumer of the news, best of all I’ve convinced an incredible woman to marry me and in the coming years we’re hoping to continue our quest to see as much of this big, beautiful world as we can.
That early, enduring love of a good story has led me down an unconventional path. It’s led me to fifteen years of helping award-winning creatives in advertising, film, television, and podcasting bring their visions to life. And I’m ready to start offering some visions of my own.
